"After 23 years of "doin' life," Bruce and Peggy have reached a time where we can fulfill a 30 year-old dream of Peg's; to take an open ended trip across Europe and taste all the flavors the old continent has to offer. Our plan is to buy a campervan and camp our way through Europe."
"We've been reduced to this! You're looking at what we are taking with us for a year in Europe! Clothes (probably too many), sleeping bags, travel books, our computer, digital camera and various electronic "stuff" to make life easier(?). In Utrecht, Netherlands we will pick up our VW van and supply it with whatever else we'll need."
"Our new home. It ain't a 5-star hotel, but it ain't the bushes either!! It is more like a 1 bedroom studio with a loft and a 1/2 bath. With the top up, it is remarkably roomy, and we like it! We first camped at the Gaasper Camping in Amsterdam (campgrounds are turning out to be very nice), with a metro station 100 meters down the road. Very convenient. It dropped us off at Central Station or several other stops of our choice."
"In Bruges (Belguim), we camped at a campground with a private water ski lake and swim club in a forest-like setting. It cost us a whole $11 a night!"
